THE LAST DETAIL is focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction - we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.
Auto detailing: is the performance of an extremely thorough cleaning, polishing and waxing of an automobile, both inside and out, to produce a show-quality level of detail. It can be practiced for personal satisfaction, or to prepare the vehicle for a car show. Elements of exterior detailing include claying, polishing, paint defect correction, and waxing. Interior detailing involves the cleaning of the interior of a vehicle using vacuums, liquid cleaners, steam, and brushes. Engine detailing involves cleaning the engine bay area of dirt and grease by using steam, high pressure water, degreasers and all-purpose cleaners.
Why is detailing becoming so popular?
According to a Motor Vehicle Marketing Association Facts and Figures study done in 2005, the average price for a new car sold in the United States was $35,000. At the same time, the average age of a passenger car in the US was 9.2 years. Industry studies highlight the fact that both of these numbers are increasing! Cars are kept longer and they are costing more to purchase. As a result, professional cosmetic maintenance of an automobile becomes the logical way to protect this important investment.
How often do you recommend that I have my car detailed?
How often your car is detailed is a number of factors including the climate where you live, the type of paint and interior materials used in your automobile, and the car's color. Generally, black cars and those with dark paint require more frequent detailing than lighter colors. We recommend a three times per year maintenance program with twice annual visits an absolute minimum.
